Ganz Announces Teapot Recall
The product manufacturer Ganz and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission recently announced a recall of 2,100 teapots in the US and another 170 in Canada. The handle of the teapot can get very hot when the pot contains hot water, therefore the user may sustain burn injuries. The recall was put into effect despite there being no cases of injury reported so far. Ganz is urging consumers to not use the teapots until the company fixes the defect.
